So, one of my favourite film companies is Troma. If you haven't heard of them, then what the hell is wrong with you? If you have, you know their majesty.
Not only do they remain the only independent film company in the US, they also put out a slew of in-house films. And, on top of that, they give new creators a chance more than anyone, go to Cannes every year, have their own film fest in Tromadance and in general are bloody good people. Despite, of course, that most of their films feature gore, nudity, mutation, bad acting, bad camerawork and generally a brilliant but awful view to making a film.
But they have had successes. For one, James Gunn, a writer/sometime director on Troma films went on to script the live-action Scooby Doo, write and direct is own superhero film The Specials, and most recently gross horror Slither. He's currently in production to direct Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - so you see how that works.
So, do we have any Tromites here? If not, any B-movie lovers to create a better thread?

I only know them for their reputation - "I Spit On Your Grave?" Looking through the DVD covers, they seem to give prominence to shapely lady's bottoms in skimpy underwear. You might think that, I couldn't possibly... Oh. You didn't say anything. Yes.
If one were to be too shy to buy one in a shop so seek other sources, as it were, what would be your top five? I mean, not just for bottoms, but in general. Obvs...?

Yes, they go for cheap titlation and gore, but do it so lovingly that you can't hate it. Everyone seems so game for a laugh that it defeats any moral objections you could possibly have.
My top five, in no order, are:
The Toxic Avenger - The film that started it all. A nerd falls into toxic waste to become Toxie, the Toxic Avenger, who unceremoniously kills the baddies and shacks up with a blind woman in a tip. It spawned four sequels, (inexplicably) a Saturday morning cartoon called The Toxic Crusaders and many comics.
Toxic Avenger 4: Citizen Toxie - The latest adventure of Toxie. Madcap genius.
Terror Firmer - In a wonderful self-parody, someone is killing the cast and crew of a low-budget film company as they shoot a slasher film. Shows up the ridiculous practices of Troma (having unpaid 'staff' sleep on floors and only feeding them cheese sandwiches) and has a heaping helping of counter-culture hero Rev Jen Miller and the studio founder, Lloyd Kaufman. He's essentially the Stan Lee of B-Movies.
Tromeo and Juliet - Exactly as you expect, Romeo and Juliet but with consideraly more blood and lesbianism, narrated by Lemmy from Motorhead. Co-written and co-directed by the aforementioned James Gunn.
The Class of Nuke 'em High: Kids next to a nuclear power plant bug out after taking contaminated drugs. They are actually working on its third sequel now, in Return to Nuke 'em High. The trailer is out, but I don't have it to hand.

I'm thinking - shall we make this the start of a forum film club? As many of us as possible watch a film recommended and then have a dedicated sub-forum to discuss it? And Troma to start? Maybe a fortnightly or monthly thing?
